
From March 17 to 19, the 2026 CIE Cosmetics Innovation Expo grandly opened at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. Centered around the theme of “Connect,” this year’s expo brought together innovative resources across the entire beauty industry chain, aiming to facilitate efficient industry collaboration and innovation-driven partnerships. As the largest beauty exhibition in Hangzhou, the event served as a key platform for showcasing cutting-edge developments in the cosmetics sector.
Building on this theme, Bawei made a stunning appearance with eight major product series—covering makeup removal and cleansing, creative single products, base makeup, personal care, skincare sticks, minimalist skincare, mask collections, and certified (whitening/sunscreen) products—featuring over 80 new launches. On the evening of March 17, at the 2026 CiE Cosmetics Innovation Awards, Bawei was honored with the “Most Innovative ODM Company of the Year” award, a testament to its continued investment in technological R&D and innovation strength.
During the exhibition, Bawei responded to market needs with its products and addressed pain points through technology. Engaging in meaningful “connections,” the company interacted closely with over 1,000 quality exhibitors and more than 40,000 professional visitors.
On the opening day, Bawei’s booth (4D-F03) attracted a huge crowd, with a steady stream of visitors. The eight major product series on display offered comprehensive coverage of diverse skincare segments, fully demonstrating Bawei’s innovative strength across multiple categories, functions, and formats.
The booth also featured a range of Chinese specialty botanical ingredients developed in collaboration with the Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Center of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, alongside proprietary technologies such as ultra-micronized lipids, micro-bead encapsulation, and biomimetic lipid penetration enhancement. To date, Bawei holds over 140 patents, has developed more than 130 proprietary ingredients, and maintains a portfolio of over 13,000 proven formulations.
Base Makeup Series: Focusing on the needs of “speed, long wear, and skincare benefits,” the series introduces products such as the Instant Brightening Cream, 24-Hour Oil-Control Foundation, and NO NG Sunscreen Foundation (SPF50+ PA+++), delivering a lightweight, long-lasting base makeup experience. The setting products include the Zero-Feel Soft-Focus Setting Balm and the “Magic” Setting Spray.
Certified Series: A collection of 17 certified products made a group appearance, covering whitening and sunscreen categories, available in various forms such as lotions, creams, foundations, and sunscreens. These products cater to brands’ specific certification needs, ensuring efficacy with reliable evidence.
Mask Family Series: The “Mask Family” comprises 12 masks targeting soothing, anti-wrinkle, oil-control, and whitening effects. With innovative concepts, distinctive mask materials, and proprietary technologies, these products deliver a professional facial treatment experience.
Makeup Removal & Cleansing Series: Aligning with the latest cleansing trends of “by skin type, by scenario, by function,” the series offers products in textures such as balms, mousses, and sorbets. Ranging from basic cleansing to advanced efficacy, they meet the diverse needs of oily-sensitive, dry-sensitive, and oily-acne-prone skin types.
Skincare Stick Series: A lineup of 12 solid essence sticks designed for multiple scenarios including neck care, eye repair, and body fragrance. Combining the concepts of “oil-based skincare” and “solid fragrance,” this series introduces a new approach to targeted, refined skincare.
Personal Care Series: Extending facial skincare to the whole body, the series includes shampoos, body washes, body lotions, hand creams, and lip care products, providing comprehensive care from head to toe with precision.
Minimalist Skincare Series: Featuring formulas with only 9 to 12 ingredients, this series uses fermented filtrates in place of purified water. By streamlining the formulation, it responds to consumers’ pursuit of safety and efficacy, embodying the philosophy of “less is more.”
Creative Single Product Series: Inspired by “sensory skincare,” this series introduces 8 innovative products that combine visual textures, multi-phase sensory experiences, and proprietary fermentation technology. Seamlessly blending skincare ritual, emotional value, and efficacy, they deliver an unprecedented skincare experience to consumers.
At the “Formula Inspiration Zone” on the 4th floor, Bawei’s 30% Amino Acid Gentle Cleanser was on display. Utilizing an amino acid crystalline system, it delivers an exceptional cleansing experience with dense foam, easy rinsing, and a non-drying finish. It strikes the perfect balance between quality and value, offering a superior cleansing experience.
Beyond that, several brands collaborating with Bawei also made impressive appearances at the exhibition, drawing equally large crowds. Products showcased by brands such as HBN, Forest Cabin, MANTING, SHE LOG, Z:SEA, MAN CODES, EHD, BUV, Simpcare, Xunhuiji, Hi!papa, FYQ, Spring Letter, HungChi, and SHUMEI, ell serve as vivid examples of the in-depth collaboration and co-creation between Bawei and its brand partners.
